Snapbacks Back

Back in my youthful grade school years, i can distinctly remember looking at my dad and saying, "why are you wearing that goofy snapback hat?" Now I know why.

A common body practice I see everyday on campus is the return of the vintage snapback. Through my life I've seen hat styles change multiple times; snapbacks, fitted caps with curved bills, fitted caps with flat bills, and now back to snapbacks. Unfortunately for my wallet, my docile body has fallen into every trend change in that hat industry, (not because i don't like my hair) but because wearing a hat has been an everyday accessory for me thanks to my dad wearing hats all the time. But what is wearing a snapback all about?

People who wear snapbacks are thrown into two categories: "hipsters" and "collectors". The hipster wears the same snapback everyday, shreds on their long board, and smokes pot. The collector has multiple hats, keeps them in pristine condition, and has a hat to match every outfit. I consider myself to be a collector. My hats are my babies and i take pride in buying the most unique/rare hats i can find in order to stand out in the crowd.

Just goes to show that once again, my pops is always right...
